Ingredients: 14 servings

For the chickpea nuggets:

  1. 1/2 cup rolled oats
  2. one small onion
  3. One teaspoon garlic powder
  4. black pepper
  5. one teaspoon paprika powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  7. Salt
  8. One tablespoon nutritional yeast
  9. two cups of chickpeas
  10. one small onion

For the crust:

  1. 1/2 cup cornflakes
  2. 1/2 cup almond milk
  3. 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

Directions:

  1. Set  350 °F temperature of the oven.
  2. Combine panko bread crumbs and cornflakes and cook for two minutes.
  3. Fry onion for three minutes.
  4. Grind the oats in a food processor or blender.. Add garlic powder, mustard, chickpeas, salt, onion in the oats mixture.
  5. Make nuggets from the chickpea mixture by pressing with hands.
  6. Cover with almond milk and coat with panko bread crumbs and cornflakes.
  7. Place parchment paper on the frying basket and bake the nuggets on it for fifteen minutes.
  8. When the nuggets become golden brown, plate them warm.

  1. If you do not like yeast, you can skip this step.
  2. Vegan chicken nuggets should have a crispy texture on the outside. And the inside layer of the nuggets should be soft.
  3. Never  blend all ingredients. Try to keep the chickpeas intact.
