The Quick and Easy Recipe for Ninja Foodi Chicken Wings

The Ninja Foodi chicken wings mixed with parmesan cheese gives the perfect salty and crispy kick to start our weekends. The recipe is super-easy to prepare and cook, even for novice cookers. It allows you to quickly prepare for the favorite reality show or a weekend trip in the lakes or beaches. When you add the garlic flavor with it, it becomes an unworldly treat for everyone.

Ingredients you will need:

  •  1-1/2 pounds of chicken wings 
  • 2 tbsp. of parmesan cheese 
  • 1 tbsp. of minced and mashed garlic 
  • Lemon juice
  • Chicken broth 
  • ½ tbsp. of onion powder, black paprika, and smoked paprika each 
  • Salt according to taste
  • Italian seasoning

Cooking process:

Since the ingredients are readily available at home, you can quickly initiate the cooking steps. It includes-

  • Cut the chicken wings flatly right at its joining at drum section. It will give you two equal parts for a wing. 
  • Locate the bowl insert of the Ninja Foodi. Now, pour in the chicken broth in it. Add some salt and slight lemon juice with garlic in it. 
  • Now add the chicken wings and lock the lid of the insert bowl - cook the chicken wings in the broth for 5 to 7 minutes. You should cook it in medium heat and avoid any hurrying for the process. Make sure the broth goes deep into the chicken wings. 
  • In a separate bowl, add the lemon juice, Italian seasoning, mashed garlic, paprika, and ginger to prepare the sauce. 
  • After you have boiled the wings, turn off the Ninja Foodi. Then, add the sauce with the chicken wings and stir it, so the sauce mixes well. 
  • Allow the wings to get soaked with the sauce and chicken broth for some time. Then, remove the liquid in a bowl to prepare the wings for air fry. 
  • Now find the rack to keep inside the bowl. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the rack. 
  • Set the fryer at 375°F and air crisp the chicken wings for 15 to 20 minutes. Flip the wings a few times to cook properly on each side. Once turned golden and crisp, the wings are ready for serving.

You can use Italian seasoning and the remaining liquid to toss over the crispy wings before serving. Finally, wrap them with the parmesan cheese and serve.

Expert Tips:

You have to slow-cook the wings with the broth. It helps the broth to reach deep inside the wings. Also, while air frying the wings, ensure that the fryer has reached its right temperature. Otherwise, the wings won’t be crispy.

  •  A fresh broth will enhance the taste. So, avoid refrigerated broth. 
  • If you don’t like the raw taste of the broth, you may add spices while cooking it.
