I was deeply interested in healthy foods during my college days. Oatmeal and fruits were my best friends. Kale smoothies were a staple.

- Firstly, we need to choose our pickles. I, like most people, choose dill pickles (the slightly spicy ones)
- Then, we need to wash them and dry them on paper napkins to remove the water. Soggy pickles do not fry well.
- Secondly, we need to make a delicious batter. Any kind of batter is acceptable. I prefer using flour, oregano seasoning, basil seasoning, salt, egg, and white pepper to make a dry batter.
- After that, we need to place a pan on medium heat. The pan should be of such a shape that oil won’t slosh over the edge. When the pan is warm, we will pour the oil.
- You should wait for a minute and then dip the pickle into our premade batter. Then, coat it in breadcrumbs and toss it into the pan.
- Keep a close eye on it so that it doesn’t burn. Fry the dill pickles until they turn golden brown.
- Lastly, drain the excess oil from the fried pickles and enjoy them with a cheese dip or a classic ranch dip.
